“We are blessed to have Spring Lake

Age: 15
Condition: Cerebral palsy, epilepsy and reflux, chronic lung disease

With Zoey being respiratory insufficient, she has become oxygen-dependent, which, along with her other conditions, requires that she receives 24-hour nursing care with various durable medical equipment. With most of these devices and accessories not being covered by insurance, the family turned to the Spring Lake Toys Foundation for help. Paulette and her team were able to step in and offer $5,000 in financial assistance and raised an additional $7,500 via a social media campaign to provide support for Zoey’s ongoing special needs. In 2020, like many others with medical challenges, Zoey was diagnosed with COVID-19 but is proud to be a survivor.
