Salvatore Frassetto

Having developed over 20 million square feet of commercial real estate projects during his career, Salvatore Frassetto is one of northern New Jersey’s most experienced and successful real estate owners and developers. The beginning of his success started with the Frassetto Construction company, a family business specializing in highway and heavy construction for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Transit, New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Giving back is close to his heart, which is why Sal is proud to be a director of the Spring Lake Toys Foundation.

David Green

President, Results Advertising

For over 20 years, David has served as the head of the one of the most respected advertising agencies in the industry. The firm is a full-service integrated advertising, marketing and brand communications agency specializing in a wide array of industries including real estate, finance, service, consumer packaged goods, entertainment and sports.

The Agency is recognized for its high level of creative product. Their services include digital development, online, print and broadcast advertising, social media, application development and public relations.

Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr.

Chairman & CEO of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc.

Lawrence R. Inserra, Jr. is Chairman & CEO of Inserra Supermarkets, Inc., one of the largest family-owned and operated supermarket chains in the metropolitan area, which operates ShopRite stores throughout New Jersey and New York. Inserra Supermarkets was founded in 1954 by Larry’s grandfather, Patsy Inserra. And the first store was located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. Although the original store no longer exists, the new ShopRite of Lyndhurst is still referred to as Patsy’s. Under the entrepreneurial guidance of the late Lawrence Inserra, Larry’s father, Inserra Supermarkets grew to 8 stores by 1980. In 1981 the company enjoyed a banner year and added an additional 6 stores bringing the total to 14 stores. From 1982 to present the company continued to expand and today Inserra Supermarkets owns and operates 23 ShopRite Stores and 2 PriceRite Markets in Bergen, Hudson and Passaic Counties in New Jersey and Rockland County in New York.

“Proud to be a family business serving families,” the Inserra family stores have truly become an integral part of the fabric of each of the communities where they are located. Every succeeding generation of Inserras has built upon Patsy’s vision of providing the highest quality products at the most reasonable prices.

Larry was born in Newark and raised in Rutherford, NJ. While attending high school, Larry worked in the family ShopRite business. He then attended Lehigh University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics. In addition to his family business accomplishments, Larry provides leadership to a number of communities and other business organizations. He is the Chairman of Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Wakefern Food Corporation, Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and Lakeland Bank. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Hackensack Meridian Health, Montclair State University and Community Resource Council.

Larry and his wife Inez currently reside in Mahwah, NJ.

Vikram Kumar

Vikram graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce in 2002. He’s the owner of Tri-State Fuel and manages multiple gas stations in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, in the latter of which he has resided for the last ten years with his beautiful wife and daughter. Vikram and his family have been involved with the community and volunteering in events such as: Knights Of Columbus, Feed the Needy, Spring Lake Toys Foundation and much more. In April 2020 he stepped up and supported the Franklin Lakes Police Department to help fight the battle against COVID-19. His tender heart and positive attitude motivates him to be accessible to anyone who yearn for a helping hand.

Karen Rutherford

Karen graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2007 with a BS in Accounting, and received her MBA in Taxation from Fordham University. She worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in their tax department for 5+ years specializing in Hedge Fund and Private Equity clients before leaving to work for Renaissance Technologies LLC for another 5+ years. After having her second child, Karen took a break from the workforce to raise her two young girls. Before having children, Karen was an avid traveler who has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. She also ran the NYC Marathon and countless half marathons. Karen currently lives in Franklin Lakes with her two daughters, Ellie and Caroline, and her husband, Dave. She is very excited to serve the Spring Lake Toys Foundation as the Board Treasurer!

Nella Veldran

Publisher, Franklin Lakes Living

Nella Veldran’s management, sales, and publishing experience spans over 30 years. She started out as an editor at a daily newspaper before transitioning into sales and ultimately management. Before starting Franklin Lakes Living magazine Nella held positions at EnsembleIQ, Hart Energy, Dun & Bradstreet, Nielsen Business Media as a Vice President for the travel group and the position of Vice President and Group Publisher for Chemical Engineering, an Access Intelligence property.

In her current role, Nella is the Publisher of Franklin Lakes Living magazine overseeing the editorial content, circulation, sponsorships/advertising and new recruits. Nella is also a real estate agent with Terrie O’Connor Realtors, Allendale. Nella is bilingual (in Italian) and earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications & English with a minor in Journalism from Montclair State University.

Nella enjoys cooking, visiting the beaches of the Outer Banks, traveling and writing. Nella lives in Franklin Lakes with her husband and two children.
