Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the North/Metro Region of Provident Bank
Samera Martinez is Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the North/Metro Region of Provident Bank. Samera has more than 30 years’ experience in the banking industry. Samera is focused on achieving branch and regional goals, as well as meeting customers’ needs and implementing strategies for providing outstanding levels of customer service. She is also responsible for internal and external sales and marketing programs, branch operations, audit controls, income and expense levels, and supporting staff development and training.
With a strong passion for being involved with the community, Samera frequently volunteers for events such as Habitat for Humanity, Rotary, Bread for the Homeless-River Edge Saint Peter’s Church, along with leading corporate volunteering events with Provident Bank’s Commit to Care program. Samera is honored to be part of the Spring Lake Toys Foundation, an organization that is close and dear to her heart in helping the local communities and helping children.
Samera resides in River Edge NJ, with her husband Bill and enjoys splitting her time between New Jersey and the Dominican Republic where they own a second home. She enjoys doing crafts and spending time with her two children, Brittany Martinez, MD and Corey Martinez.
